Booda & Troy
Our sister-in-law, Amy, tagged us with the 4/4 tag. We are supposed to take the fourth picture out of the fourth folder of our picture folder and tell everyone about it. It is a nice little walk down memory lane.
This photo was taken in February of 2007. We had just gotten Booda from the animal shelter. As you can see, he was the CUTEST puppy EVER.
At the time, Troy and I were working very hard and trying to meticulously budget our money….we didn’t even have TV. Booda was our only real entertainment. Needless to say, he got a lot of our attention. Every night when we got home from work we would all sit on the floor behind the couch and play. He definitely was a “first dog,” and became quite well trained very quickly.
Max & Troy
By the time that Max (also the CUTEST puppy EVER) came along a year later (seventh folder, 20th picture), we were a bit more relaxed. We had gotten cable and were a bit less meticulous regarding puppy training. In addition, Max is by nature a naughtier dog than Booda. Max is a very natural “second dog.”

As you can see (seventh folder, 32nd picture), our family dynamic worked out very well. We were fortunate to end up with two very different, but equally wonderful puppies. We are hopeful that they will get along with our baby as well as they get along with each other.
